“Always remember that you are absolutely unique. Just like everyone else.”

let's
chat

I'm a tall, critical thinker who loves dogs, books, fashion, 90s sitcoms, skincare, space and cooking a mean curry.
A fun fact is that I have a foster fail rescue dog named Dolly so together we are Holly&Dolly <3.
Speaking of animal rescue, that is where my photography journey started. I took one class in university, bought a camera and traveled overseas to Asia for 2 years. My first job was working at a wildlife rescue center and elephant sanctuary as the in-house and rescue team photographer and graphic designer.

After I came home I worked for a few wedding photography studios in the city and I learned so much. But I never seemed to connect to or really understand the happenings of bigger, more traditional weddings. The bride and groom always seemed so stressed and distracted the whole time that they were missing their own wedding day. So I made the decision to focus solely on small weddings and elopements as their intimacy and authenticity really speak to my heart. And the fact that you can do whatever you want with them! I've always been a bit of a rebel when it comes to conventional ideas and expectations. I ask "Why?" a lot!

The biggest thing to know about me is that I am here for you. Tell me how you would get married if nothing else mattered.

I love to capture real moments. This is what every photographer says isn't it? But I want to take it a step further and have your entire wedding be an experience that is true to you and your partner and what you want.
What's the point of capturing 'real moments' in an environment that is predicated on set expectations and traditions? An experience that isn't even really your own - it's society's or your family's.
When planning your wedding do you ever question why you feel like you have to do something? Traditions often mean specific things are expected or assumed to happen.

I want us to start there and answer those questions and work on cultivating a day that you don't feel the need to question. Everything should have a reason other than 'just because.'
